From near the putting green, a gate gives access to the woods behind Lynch Country House, allowing a walk up to Hurlstone Point, Selworthy Beacon, Allerford or Selworthy (the National Trust Village) where walkers can be rewarded with a cream tea in Periwinkle Cottage.
Lynch Country House has an extremely well stocked information room filled with maps and brochures. Clive and Sharna Daniels have a thorough knowledge of the area and always direct guests to the most beautiful and interesting locations.
